Healp App is your fun health community!

At Healp, we are friends living with the same health conditions and we are a community that connects, shares, and supports one another. We provide valuable information that you won’t find in any doctor’s office or textbook. After all, doctors don’t live with a health condition—you do and we are here to healp each other out!

It’s easy to be overwhelmed by all the information on sites, blogs, and online communities. Healp makes it simple by connecting you to real people with similar health conditions who can relate, healp and support you.

Were on a mission to healp you live your best life with a chronic illness, mental health condition, misdiagnosed or undiagnosed condition. From tips on health and social life to career advice and more, our community shares what has worked for them and we share it back with all of you.

WHY WE STARTED:

When you have a health condition, the information you find is often conflicting or comes from researchers and doctors. Thats why we created Healp—to give people with health conditions a place to share their experiences, connect with others and get the support they need to get through it. We are community driven, after all doctors don’t try what they prescribe- you do!

Whats the best way to ask your professor for accommodations? How do you talk to your employer about your medical needs? How do you tell a new partner about your health needs? Healp has the answers you need from those who know best what it’s like.

Join our community of friends with health conditions. A place where you can ask questions, share your story, get support that healps you get through the hard times and celebrate the good times.

HOW IT WORKS:

Healp has two components: Social Network and Crowdsourcing platform

Social Network: Healp helps you find friends who have the same health conditions as you. With Healp, you can create a profile and share information about your age, location, hobbies, and medical conditions. Afterward, we will match you to friends with similarities.

In addition, you can connect 1-1 with NGOs, health groups, advocacy groups, researchers and other like-minded people who want to support your journey.

Once you match with a new friend or partner, you can chat about your health, personal life, work, school, family and so much more!

Crowdsourcing Platform: Healps discovery page allows you to share your voice by taking surveys and sharing your perspectives from your experience being a patient. We then aggregate everyones answers and publish the results for everyone in our community.

Our platform does more than just bring people together - it also provides valuable information for patients that doctors and medical textbooks cant provide.

MISSION:

Healps family empowers each other and does our best to spearhead change across the world.

We are passionate about changing the stigma around life with a health condition and more importantly, helping each other find the best health, social life, professional tips and more!

Join the Movement! #ChangeTheStigma

FOUNDER STORY:

Healp was founded by a 20-something female with 2 chronic conditions. She was motivated to create this community because she always wanted a community that was her age that understood what its like, but she couldnt find one.

We created this community out of love and care. We promise to do our best to healp you get through the challenges you face during your health battles, and I hope Healp provides you with answers our founder was desperately seeking when she first got sick.

Let’s change the world, Healp family!
